Harvesters hand-rake the marine plants under closely controlled conditions to ensure purity, freshness and to safeguard the natural resource. The producer utilizes all natural processing methods to produce a clean, chemical free product.
When Irish Moss is boiled in water proteins will clump together and then form a jelly when cold if the concentration is high enough.
Carrageen Moss is very well known as a key ingredient in marbling paper process as a natural thickener.
the ancient art of paper marbling uses carrageenan mixture on which to float paints; the paper is then laid on it, absorbing the colors.
